Go from a plain-English question to a finished map in a few minutes — open a workspace, ask the agent, and explore the result.

This guide takes you through one complete request, from an empty workspace to a styled map.

1. Open a workspace

Sign in and open a workspace. You’ll see the chat panel on the left, the map in the center, and the layers and output panels ready to fill as you work.

2. Ask in plain English

In the chat composer, describe what you want. Be specific about the place and the outcome:

Map every café within a 10-minute walk of 350 5th Ave, New York.

Press Enter. The agent interprets your request, plans the steps, and starts working.

3. Watch the agent work

As the agent runs, you’ll see each step appear in the chat — loading data, running the analysis, and styling the result. When a step finishes, the new layer appears on the map and in the Layers panel.

4. Explore the result

  • Pan and zoom the map; switch between map, tilt, and globe views.
  • Open the Attributes table to inspect the underlying features.
  • Toggle visibility, reorder, or restyle layers in the Layers panel.

5. Refine

Keep the conversation going. Ask follow-ups in the same workspace:

Now shade the walkable area by café density and make it presentation-ready.

The agent builds on what’s already there.
