Chat panel
The chat panel is the agent you talk to — describe spatial work in plain English and watch each step run on the map.
The chat panel is the heart of Geo-Intellisense. You describe what you want in plain English, and the agent plans the work, runs it, and renders the results to the map.
Asking a question
Type your request in the composer and press Enter. Be specific about the place and the outcome:
Find flood-prone catchments below 50 m elevation along the Brahmaputra.
You can keep the conversation going — follow-up messages build on everything already in the workspace.
Following the work
As the agent works, the thread shows each step:
- Thinking — the agent is planning.
- Operations — each spatial step (for example, a buffer or spatial join) with a live status, then a check mark and the resulting layer when it completes.
- Results — a short summary of what was produced, with a link to zoom to it on the map.
When the agent needs you
Some steps need your input on the map — drawing an area of interest, placing a point, or selecting features. The agent shows a prompt with a button; complete the action on the map and it continues.
Artifacts
When the agent produces code, a query, or a table, it appears as an artifact you can open in the Editor to read or adjust.
