Anatomy of an agentic GIS workflow

What actually happens when you ask Geo-Intellisense a spatial question? Here’s the shape of a single request.

1. Create

You describe intent — a place and what you want to know. The orchestrator turns raw geometry and language into a semantic workspace.

2. Load

The Data Agent identifies the sources that matter and pulls them over MCP — imagery, elevation, vector features, hydrology — then reprojects and indexes them in seconds.

3. Analyze

The Spatial Agent runs the workflow: buffers, spatial joins, watershed delineation, H3 aggregation. Patterns surface; anomalies reveal themselves.

4. Visualize

The Cartographer Agent reads the data distribution and generates a presentation-ready WebGL style. You explore, share, and decide.

The result: minutes of natural-language conversation replace what used to take a day of tooling.
